Supporting and strengthening opportunities for the next generation of extraordinary people Steven Strobert Foundation, Inc. Steven Strobert (SHS, Class of 1985), a victim of the attack on the World Trade Center, was an extraordinary person whose life and legacy are honored through the Foundation. An energetic, high achiever, who worked as a bond trader for Cantor Fitzgerald on the 105th floor of the World Trade Center, he is remembered by all who knew him for his joy of life, his caring and concern for others, and his generous spirit.General Award Description A scholarship award has been established by the Steven Strobert Foundation to financially assist Secaucus High School seniors. The Foundation will award one or more male and a female students scholorships to be used towards the purchase of books required by registered classes. Eligibility Requirements Graduating senior from Secaucus High School. Accepted by an accredited two year or four year school on a full-time basis. 2.75 Grade Point Average or higher. Submission of:
Participation in extracurricular activities. Must submit an essay on his/her family, education and community experiences. General Information Students wishing to apply for the Steven Strobert Memorial Scholarship Award should contact the guidance office. All required information must be submitted to the Foundation by the date set forth by the Secaucus High School scholarship committee. The award will be presented at the Secaucus High School awards night.
