Dr. Frank Alvarez
Frank Alvarez is a Superintendent of Schools in
Montclair, New Jersey and an adjunct professor at Montclair University. During his
distinguished career he has served as an award winning principal and as
coordinator of urban services for the New Jersey Department of Education. He
received his masters and doctoral degrees from Columbia University.
Dr. Theresa Ciccateli
A tenured professor of education and former
department chairperson at Fordham University, Dr.Ciccateli is also co-director
of the New York Superintendent's network. She is the author of two books and
numerous articles on educational change, inclusion and professional development.
She is regularly a featured presenter at major educational conferences.
She previously directed a Teacher Center and remains very involved in the
training of teachers. Theresa holds a Ph.D from Syracuse University.
Leo Primiano, CPA
Professor emeritus at Montclair University, Leo
Primiano was a professor at the university and chairperson of the School of
Business. Prior to his work at Montclair, he taught in the Graduate School of
Business at Rutgers University. Before entering the field of education, Leo was
the controller/financial vice president for a major corporation. He is the
author of the New Jersey Department of Education manual for program oriented
budgeting. Mr. Primiano has offered numerous seminars for the American Institute
of CPAs.
Dr. Barbara Strobert
Barbara Strobert is an award winning educator who
has been recognized by the United States Department of Education and
professional organizations. Her numerous roles in education include teacher,
mathematics chairperson, distinguished principal, district level director, and
superintendent of schools. After earning a doctorate from Columbia University,
Barbara taught at Columbia and Fordham Universities helping to train new
teachers and aspiring administrators. She is presently a professor at Seton Hall
University.
